Ollie Bell Canagan “Honey” was born to Inez Barnett and Nathan Heard on Feb 15, 1937 in Jackson, Mississippi. She received her wings November 14, 2018 in Kansas City, Mo. She was proceeded in death by Mother Inez Barnett and Father Nathan Heard.

She graduated high school and relocated to Kansas City, Mo at the age of 18. Where she met and married Al Canagan Sir and had their only child, Al Canagan Jr She began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was a member of Sunlight Missionary Baptist Church.

Ollie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a passion for cooking, loved playing cards, and just being around family. Left to cherish her memories; Husband AL Canagan of Kansas City, Mo; one brother Johnnel Heard of Jackson, Mississippi; one son Al Canagan of Columbia, MO; four grandchildren of Kansas City, Mo; and twelve great grandchildren; Dewayne White Sir (3) of Superior, WI, Corrine Canagan (2) Christopher Canagan (4) and Carmen Canagan (3) of Kansas City, MO.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00 Lawrence A. Jones Linwood Chapel. Visitation 9:00 A.M. Interment Brooking Cemetery.
