Obituary for Opal Youmans (Martin) Opal Marie Martin Youmans, 82, wife of Bud Willard Youmans, died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her home. Born, December 19, 1935, in Johnson County, Texas, she was a daughter of the late R.L. Martin, the late Fannie May Henderson and the late O.M. Henderson. Mrs. Youmans was a member of Wedgefield Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years; four grandchildren, Bud Bowman (Tanya), Tiffanie Zellers (John), Marty Youmans, and Tiffany Lee; five great grandchildren, John Zellers, Logan Zellers, Ayden Zellers, Jack Zellers, and Victoria Bowman; and one brother, Aubrey Henderson (Gayla) of Sherman, Texas. She was preceded in death by four children, Bud W. Youmans, Jr., Jackie Youmans, Sheila Y. Lee, and Raymond M. Youmans. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wedgefield Baptist Church with the Rev.

Paul Goff officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Zellers, Logan Zellers, Scotty Henderson, Bud Bowman, Marty Youmans, and Dennis Pritchard.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wedgefield Baptist Church and other times at the home, 30 Youmans Court, Wedgefield. Memorials may be made to Wedgefield Baptist Church, 6220 Wedgefield Rd, Wedgefield, SC 29168. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
