Ora Lee (Pittsley) Westie passed away October 2, 2018 at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin after a lengthy illness. She was born December 23, 1940 in Calderwood (Bond Falls), Michigan to Robert and Elaine Pittsley. Ora graduated from the Trout Creek Schools in 1958.

Ora was united in marriage June 14, 1958 with Philip Westie. Together they raised five children. Ora Lee worked at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Ontonagon, MI She was the manager at Krist Oil Convenience Station in Ontonagon until her retirement.

She is survived by her children: Lisa (Richard) Sandy of Mass City, MI; Robert Westie of Ontonagon, MI, Kevin (Amber) Westie of Great Falls, MT, Kandy (David) Vuorenmaa of Hurley, WI and Mark (Melissa) Westie of Mass City, MI. Ora is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Dennis Pittsley, Bruce Pittsley, Donna (Pittsley) Mercier, Rhonda (Pittsley) McClure, Norman Pittsley and Phyllis (Pittsley) Wallenius, also 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Westie, mother and father, Elaine and Robert Pittsley, grandson Brandon Westie, sisters Yvonne (Tina) Benarides and Roberta (Bobbie) Vizina.

Visitation will take place Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon, MI from 10:00 am until 11:00 am EST with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Greenland, MI.
