Oscar W. Nye, 95, of Lower Paxton Township passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Jewish Home of Harrisburg. Born June 21, 1923 in Kutztown, he was preceded in death by his father Charles Nye, mother Lillian Klick, wife of 72 years Mary K. (Nornhold) Nye since March 2016, and retired from Buttercrust Bakery, Harrisburg. Surviving are his children Linda E. Nye, Barry L. Nye, Deborah K. Leiby, and Darlene M. Nye; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two nieces; and four nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Buse Funeral Home, 2 East Main Street, Hummelstown preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM. Interment in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
