Ossie’s Obituary Ossie Lee Smith Jr. was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, on April 28, 1952, to the union of his parents Ossie Lee Smith Sr, and Betty Jean Bonner Smith. Our beloved Ossie Lee Smith, Jr., was a jack-of-all-trades who enjoyed doing odd jobs for people in the community. His family was first in his life, who he enjoyed spending quality time and always was the life of the family gatherings.

He knew exactly how to eat a laugh out of you, one way or another. He had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. He leaves behind to cherish his memories forever: two brothers, George Smith and Jarvitus “Jug” Edwards, five sisters, Mary Ann Smith, Barbra Ann Coleman, Betty Jo Simmons, Annette Shannon, and Rose Edwards; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
