Otello “Tony” Ferri passed away surrounded by his loving wife and daughters on Monday, June 11, 2018 after a year long battle with cancer. He was 77. Mr. Ferri of Jeffersonville was a partner with his brother of Bob’s Auto Parts for over 30 years.

He also worked at the former Allen Wood Steel Company and as a Landscaper. He was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Church and the Holy Saviour Club. Otello enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

He loved nature and was an avid gardener. He was a passionate soccer fan devoted to his favorite team, Juventus. He was born on December 24, 1940 in Ascoli Piceno,Italy.

Son of the late Carlo and Anna (Vitelli) Ferri. He moved to the United States in 1963. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Margherita “Margie”( Volpe) Ferri, two daughters Lara Ferri (Rajeev) Shah, Silvia Ferri (Matthew) Martin and four grandchildren Maximillian, Alessandro, Giuliana, and Leia.

He is also survived by his brother Ubaldo “Bob” Ferri, and sister-in-law Elsa as well as nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Monday, June 18 at 11 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will be at St Patrick’s Cemetery.

Friends may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the church. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home.
