Pamela Kay White, 63 passed on into the arms of her savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 15 at her home in Waxahachie, Texas. Pam was born in Dallas on July 10, 1955. Her parents were Jesse and Florence Yates, who preceded her in death.

She grew up and received her education in Balch Springs, Texas. A devout Christian, she was raised up as a preacher’s daughter and learned how to play piano and sing at a young age. Pam never met a stranger and really loved people and had a big heart.

She had a beautiful smile and was such a talented musician and a great singer. Music and people were her passion and she loved helping others. She and her husband Gary loved to play and sing together and formed The Blues Healers, a local band that has been involved in many area benefit concerts.

She will be so missed! She was a homemaker and enjoyed interior decorating. She also loved going on weekend getaway trips, spending time with friends and family and playing games which she always had a knack of winning.

Pam is survived by her husband Gary White, her daughter Shelli Garland, step daughter Eva White, step daughter Lauren Chester and her husband Jacob. Father and mother in law Larry and Pat White, grandmother Mittie Bowren, grandsons Brantley Price, Landon Price and wife Megan and Edwin Bennett, granddaughters Riley and Rayleigh Chester and several cousins and a host of friends. She is also survived by her fur babies Sandy and Dizzy who brought her much joy and who she loved and adored.

The family would like to thank the staff at Baylor Scott & White in Waxahachie and Dallas, Texas and Dr. John Bousquet for their excellent care during Pam’s illness. Services celebrating Pam’s life will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 2-4 at Longbranch Community Baptist Church, 200 Longbranch Rd, Midlothian, TX 76065. Arrangements especially for the White family by Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
