Pamela Smith Shields, 67, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019. She was born August 14, 1951 in Johnston County to the late Paul Smith and Martha Blinson Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Holly S. Brantley and husband Joe of Bunn; grandchildren: Kayla Brantley (Matthew Kilduff), Gavin Brantley, Garland Shields, Chelsea Ahlemann and Billy Ray Allen, III; great-grandson: Kevon Kilduff; brother, William Kenneth Smith of Henderson; and the father of her children: Garland Shields, Jr. of Wendell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Hope Darl Shields and a brother, Fred Douglas Smith. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
