OBITUARY Pat Deatherage Busby March 5, 1942 – September 8, 2018 Pat Deatherage Busby passed away on September 8th, 2018. She was born on March 5, 1942. She was 76 years old.

She was married to Robert “Bob” Busby for 57 years. She was the love of his life. She loved to travel with her husband.

She also loved to shop and had beautiful clothes. She taught French at Sullivan South and Sulphur Springs High Schools. Pat enjoyed taking her students to France.

Bob & Pat spent 40 years in East TN where they made many lifelong friends. She retired to Alabama to be near her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brothers, Paul Deatherage and Bill Deatherage as well as her sister, Ann Deatherage Woods.

She had many nieces and nephews who adored her including Angela Woods Puckett (Ken), Brandon McLeod (Janet), Alesia Williams, & Ralph McLeod (Tracy). Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Wilsonville Baptist Church, 9851 S. Main Street, Wilsonville, AL 35186. The family requests memorial donations to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation at www.
