Patricia’s Obituary BEHM, Patricia A. (Nee Walker) – Age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Vista Springs of Howell. Visitation 11 a.m. and Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday April 30, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, luncheon to follow. Patricia was born to Frank and Eva (Barton) Walker on July 15, 1923, the eldest of 3 children, Marilyn and Frank.

She graduated from Dearborn High School in 1941. Patricia met Walter, her husband of 70 years, just prior to World War II. Walter enlisted in the Navy and Pat enrolled in Grace Hospital Nurses Training, where she earned her BA as a Registered Nurse.

Following the war, they were married and settled in Mt. Morris, Michigan. They have four children, Thomas J. (Connie) Behm of Blanchard, MI, Nancy A. (Terry) O’Leary of Metamora, MI, Bonnie P. (Tom) Riutta of Brighton, MI and Gary W. (Jeanne) Behm of West Henrietta, New York.

Patricia had six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; niece, Suzanne Perras was very special to Patricia. Pat was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed working part-time at McLaren Hospital, with premature babies.

She also loved gardening, bingo and spending time at their homes in Oscoda and Leesburg, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter (2016); her brother, Frank and sister, Marilyn. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Behm Family Endowment at RIT/NTID for deaf and hard of hearing students or Heart to Heart Hospice.
