Patricia Ann Fitzgerald, 70, of Afton, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018. She was born June 2, 1948 in Staunton, the daughter of Virginia Campbell of Staunton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wayne Fitzgerald.

In addition to her mother Virginia Campbell of Staunton, she is survived by two sons, Kevin Fitzgerald and his wife, Tammy of Afton and Brian Fitzgerald and his girlfriend, Lorie of Afton; her sister, Wanda Sorrells of Verona; a special niece, Rhonda Strickler of Middlebrook; six grandchildren, Dougie, Cody, Jared, Trevor, Amber and Ashley; great-grandsons, Braxton and Oscar; a special friend Linda and Patricia’s Fur Baby companion, Sadie. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 17, 2018 at Oaklawn Memory Gardens, 1921 Shutterlee Mill Road, Staunton, conducted by Pastor Robert Mansfield, Jr. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery for the service. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P.M., Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Dr., Fishersville.
