Obituary for Patricia Ann Mace Cooper Patricia Ann Mace Cooper was born May 26, 1951 to the late Robert Lee (Bob) Mace and Wenona Waters in Chicago IL. Pat confessed her faith at an early age at Pilgram Baptist Church of South Chicago where her vocal prowess was enjoyed and is remembered fondly. Pat was educated in the Chicago Public School District and graduated from Bowen High School.

After graduating she enjoyed all that life in the city had to offer. She sang in the choir, was backup and studio vocalist, Soul Train dancer and clerk at Johnson Publishing Company. She was a lover of the Gospel, all music genres, books, plants, cosmetology and crafts.

She absorbed all that life had to offer. In 1998, Patricia moved to Mississippi with her then husband, Donnie Walker and to this union 2 children were born. Patricia was preceded in death by her fathers, Robert L. (Bob) Mace and Amzie Waters Jr. and her Husband, E.L. Cooper.

Pat saw her final sunset and entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. Patricia is survived by her mother, Wenona Waters; 2 daughters; Donica Walker, Hattiesburg, MS; Nikita Williams, Pascagoula, MS; 1 brother, Daryl Mace; Chicago, IL; 4 sisters; VaNessa Redd (John), Chicago, IL; Michele Williams, Hattiesburg, MS; Tijuana Mace Trice and Nicole Mace Jones; both of Chicago, IL; a brother-in-love, Terry Brown (Deidre); Chicago, IL; a sister-in-love, Andrea Pauling (Cedric), Raeford, NC; 6 grandchildren; Cameron, Tiara, Jalon, Xavier, Skyy, and Christian; 3 great grandchildren; Jayden, Ayden, and Rose; 2 life long sister-friends, Joann Graham and Francine Foster Owens, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
