Obituary for Patricia Ann Silvia ROCKLAND – Patricia A. Silvia, 65, died peacefully with dignity, love and support after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Sussman Hospice House in Rockport. Born in Brighton, MA, June 5, 1953, she was the daughter of William and Margaret Keating O’Donnell. Educated at St. Agnes in Arlington, Patricia attended Framingham State College where she earned a Bachelors in Education.
She taught school for several years, and has continued teaching the people in her life valuable lessons each and every day. She was an artist and had a great appreciation for nature. She had a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds, treating all of God’s creatures with respect and love.
She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. Predeceased by her parents, and a sister Mary Jean Flynn; Patricia is survived by her brother James F. O’Donnell and his wife Jeanette of Andover, MA; a sister Maureen T. O’Donnell of Arlington, MA; many loving nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as a wonderful support network of loving care-givers. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 150 Broadway, Rockland.
