Obituary for Patricia Ann Tyrell (Head) Patricia Ann Tyrell, 84 of Abilene passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Salina Regional Hospital. She was born February 8, 1934 in Milford, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Johnston) Head. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Edgar Tyrell January 26, 1975.
He preceded her in death May 24, 2003. Patricia worked as a housekeeper at Browns Foundation. She was a member of the American Legion, Topps and the red hats.
Patricia is survived by two daughters: Linda Pipes (Larry) of Abilene; Rona Kohman (Jim) of Abilene. Two sons: Galen Payne (Kathy) of Abilene and Samuel Payne (Cindy) of Abilene. One sister, Imogene Hutcherson of Abilene.
10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Kenneth, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The family has chosen cremation.
Memorial Services will be 11 A.M., Friday, November 16, 2018 at Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene with Pastor Stan Norman officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M., at the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Patricia Tyrell memorial fund. Memorials may be dropped off or mailed to Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW Third St., Abilene, Kansas 67410.
