Patricia Carmella Van Marter, age 82, of Toms River passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2017 at the Bey Lea Nursing Home in Toms River, NJ. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank & Emily (Patten) Pease, and a wonderful Grandson, Joseph Raymond Shenko, and her husband of 35 years Raymond L. Van Marter. She is survived by her brother, Frank M. Pease and his wife, Nancy, and her sister, Darlene Scheiderman, and her husband, Robert, also by her children, Judith Fay Johnson, Gary Charles Johnson, Mickalene Brewer, Raymond L. Van Marter and Robyn Lynn Riley.

Also her Grandsons, Thomas James Shenko, Joshua Raymond McFarland, Nathaniel McFarland, and Raymond Haug Van Marter, as well as a bevy of loving nieces and nephews. Pat was dedicated to her family and her happiest moments were when the entire family could gather together. She was a member of the East Dover Volunteer Fire Company #4 Ladies Auxiliary, and for many years was the chairman of the Bingo kitchen, along with her husband, Ray.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 10:00am -12:00pm at the Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main Street, Toms River, with Funeral Service 11:30am , burial will immediately follow at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Freehold, NJ. Thanks and gratitude of Pat and her family are hereby extended to the employees and staff of Bey Lea Nursing Home and Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals for their kindness and understanding at this difficult time.
