Patricia (Patti) Ellen Monte, 69, died Tuesday March 5, 2019, after going into cardiac arrest and not regaining consciousness. Patti was born July 20,1949, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She went to college at Southern Oregon University, where she met the love of her life Nicholas Monte.

They wed in 1972 and moved to Oregon City, Oregon where they would live the remainder of Patti’s life. Patti was an elementary school teacher that spent most of her years teaching Kindergarten, anyone that knew Patti knew that she loved teaching, working at her church, being a Grandma, and giving back wherever she could. She was a woman that made an impact on everyone that she came in contact with.

She is survived by her Husband Nicholas Monte and four children; Shawn Monte (Kristy), Katherine Abbott (Devon), Megan Nava (Brian) and Nicole Nelson (Jon); her brothers George Sprague and Karl Sprague and eight grandchildren. Service will be held on Friday, March 15, rosary at 10:30 am, funeral mass at 11:00 am, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Oregon City, Fr. Maxy D’Costa will officiate.

Contributions in Memory of Patti may be made to Catholic Daughter’s (Court St. Anne at St. John the Apostle Church) or the Mt Angel Seminary.
