Patricia E. Kealon, 48, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019. Patricia was born January 4, 1971 in New York to the late Lionel and Sylvia Mendez. Patricia was a scholar, practically a genius.

She was passionate about school and education. She loved animals, traveling and shopping. Patricia was very creative and artistic.

She enjoyed drawing, writing, reading, singing and dancing. Patricia was a devoted wife and mother. She will be forever loved and greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include beloved husband of 22 years, Gene Kealon, Jr.; three children, Jaden, Jynel, and Jared Kealon; mother, Sylvia Mendez; sister, Lisa (Chris) Nadelbach; brother, Geoffrey “Butch” (Marcella) Mendez; sister, Bridget (Parnell) Judge; brother, Lionel “Chuck” Mendez; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm – 4:15 pm, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Friday at 4:30 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev.

Gardner Kealon. Patricia had a very colorful personality. Please join us by wearing bright colors as we celebrate her life.
