Patricia Jeanne Bramblett, 75, of S. Swigart, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at her home. Graveside services will be held at Carlsbad Cemetery (new section) on Friday, June 1, 2018, 10:00 AM with Pastor Brad Coates officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Patricia Bramblett was born in Topeka, Kansas March 21, 1943 to Iren Baxter. She retired as executive director of the Battered Women’s Shelter where she enjoyed helping change lives of many women in the Eddy County community. Pat enjoyed her dogs, Obie and Lady and loved spending time in her yard, tending to her roses and hummingbirds.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren; watching them play. While she enjoyed those things, Pat was also happy just being at home. One of her proudest moments was being nominated for Woman of the Year.

Survivors are her Gary Bramblett and Charles Bramblett, his wife, Brande Bramblett and their two daughters; his six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life following the services at 207 S. Swigart, Carlsbad, NM.
