Patricia Jane Oliver, age 73 years, died peacefully Friday, November 9, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region surrounded by her family. She was born March 17, 1945 to the late James and Mary Ann Nagy in Trenton, Michigan. Upon moving north, Pat graduated from Whittemore Prescott High School in 1963.

Patricia was an Administrative Assistant for the Essexville Hampton Public School System for over 30 years. Her no nonsense approach touched the lives of many students and colleagues alike. Patricia has been a long-time member of St. John Church of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish.

Leaving to cherish her memory are her three children: Cynthia (James) Kohli, Brenda (Donald) Morgan, Jonathan (Ashley) Oliver; four grandchildren: Madisun, Mackenzie, Jamison, and William; her sister: Rosemary Haight; two brothers: Frank (Marcella) Nagy and Jesse Nagy; and several nieces and nephews. Mom will be dearly missed by many. Our deepest gratitude to the staff at New Hope Bay and the Professional Staff at McLaren Bay Region for their care and support.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 10:00 in St. John Church of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish. Rev. Dale A. Orlik will preside and Rite of Committal will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be designated for the Special Olympics of Michigan. Visiting hours with the family will be Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 2:00 until 8:00 at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel, and in church on Thursday after 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass. For on-line sentiments: www.
