Patricia Jane Taylor, age 68, Logansport, passed away at 1:47 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, in Five Star Residences of North Woods, Kokomo. Born November 2, 1949, in Pulaski, she was the daughter of Burl Owen and Betsy Hettinger Scheffer. On February 9, 1968, in St. Joseph’s Church, Pulaski, she was married to Fred Vern Taylor, who preceded her in death on May 28, 2017.

She loved all animals, especially cats and dogs. Especially she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her sons, Jeffrey (Teresa) Taylor, North Judson, Scott (Mindy) Taylor, Rockfield; daughter, Amy (Mike) Pullen, Galveston; grandchildren, Garrett Pullen, Michaela Pullen, Austin Taylor, Alyssa Taylor and Aydrial Taylor.

Also surviving are a niece, Kim Balance and a nephew, John Kuhn. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Bill Ortman, step-mother, Alice Scheffer and step-father, Al Block. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, also at the funeral home, with Rev. David Leman officiating. Interment will be in Buck Cemetery, Thornhope.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Five Star Residences of North Woods, 2501 Friendship Blvd, Kokomo, IN 46901. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The family requests that casual clothing be worn to the visitation and the funeral.
