Cataleya Jaylen Arellano, 5, of Logansport, passed away at 2:15 a.m., Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Logansport Memorial Hospital. Born on June 19, 2013 in Logansport, she was the daughter of Marlem Sosa and Rafael Arellano. Cataleya was a student at Landis Elementary.

She enjoyed dancing, riding her bike, stars and unicorns. Survivors include her parents, mother, Marlem Sosa of Logansport, father, Rafael Arellano of Logansport, maternal grandparents, Leonel Osonia and Laura Arellano of Logansport, brother, Nayvien Whitelow of Logansport. Aunts, Paloma Arellano, Lucia Sosa of Logansport, Uncles, Omar Arellano, Moises Arellano, Jairo Sosa, Rembrandt “Paquito” Sosa, Luise Briseno, Jose Briseno all of Logansport, Uncle, Hirberto Arellano (Rosa) of Kansas.

Cataleya also has many extended Sosa family member of Illinois, Regalado family members of Kansas and Briseno family members of Chicago. Celebration of life for Cataleya and Jason will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Lifegate Church, 831 Burlington Avenue, Logansport, Indiana. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 at the church.
