Patricia “Pat” Kraemer Ledet, a native of Lafourche, and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the age of 90. A visitation will be held in her honor on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, Thibodaux, LA from 8:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 pm .

The burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her four children; Glenn, Sr. married to Karla Schexnayder Ledet, and their children, Glenn, Jr (Adrienne Olinde), Kristi (Chris Breaux) and Eric; Patricia Ledet Lombardo and her children, John and Lauren (Gage Duet); Bryan married to Tammy Tregre Ledet and their children, Lance and Scott; and Jerry, Jr., married to Susan LeCompte Ledet and their child, Emily. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren Evan, Adeline, Kate, and Andrew.

She also fostered Ronnie Acosta, married to Ann Benoit Acosta, and Myra Acosta Richoux, married to Darryl Richoux. She is survived by several brothers-in-law Charlie (Lois) and Philip (Charlene) Ledet, and sisters-in-law, Theresa Ledet Leche, Anna Mae Ledet Labat, Barbara Ledet Battaglia, Marcelle Ledet Labat (Gary), Noel Ledet Bourg, Lydia Ledet Degruise, Lena Rose Ledet, Floramae Kraemer, and Dutchie Kraemer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jerry Peter Ledet, Sr. a son Gerard J. Ledet, and a grandson, Gerard J. Lombardo.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ozema and Nobie Gros Kraemer, brothers, Herbert, Tafry, Norris and Iry Kraemer, and two sisters, Erna “Sis” Kraemer and Orena Kraemer Acosta. Because of their service to the Thibodaux Community, she and her husband received the Francis M. Durel Service Award presented by the local VFW post in 1983. She also received a lifetime membership in the Krewe of Cleophas, where she, along with her spouse, helped with its reorganization in 1967.

She was an active parishioner of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or E. D. White Catholic High School. Landry’s Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
