OBITUARY Patricia “Patty” Ann Brandt February 26, 1939 – December 21, 2018 Patricia Ann Brandt, 79, of Hurst, TX, passed away on December 21, 2018. She will always be remembered as a loving Mother, Mimi and caring friend. She was born on February 26, 1939 in Atchison, Kansas to Robert and Vera Peterson.

Patty graduated from Atchison High School in 1957 and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Emporia State in 1961. Patty loved spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren. Her positive energy affected everyone.

She really enjoyed working the past 16 years as an Administrative Assistant supporting law enforcement at her job at Texoma HIDTA. She had a great love for nature, especially rocks and anything related to the ocean. Patty is survived by her son Scott Brandt and wife Carol of North Richland Hills, son Steve Brandt and wife, Shelly of Colleyville, daughter Susan Brandt of North Richland Hills, four grandchildren, Logan, Colton, McKinley and Landri, nephew Bobby Peterson and wife Joyce of Kansas City, Kansas, niece Leslie Schoenfelder and husband Ron of Atchison, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Peterson, her Mother, Vera Peterson, and her brother, Dick Peterson. Patty was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Patty loved and treasured her family, and they will always love and treasure her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 27 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Colleyville, 5300 Colleyville Blvd. , Colleyville, Texas 76034. A reception will immediately follow the service at the Church.
