Patricia Marie (Sennett) Lindberg, 82, of Craiwell Avenue passed away Thursday at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Calais, ME on April 28th, 1937. She was raised both in Maine and New Hampshire and settled in West Springfield 30 yrs.

ago. Patricia was Director of Nursing for Geri-Care Home Health in Springfield. She also started, with her friend Margaret Carlson, the detox unit in Springfield now known as The Carlson Recovery Center.

She attained her LPN in New Hampshire and later received her RN Degree from the former Baystate Hospital School of Nursing. She was a longtime member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Springfield. She was the beloved wife of Edward E. Lindberg, loving mother of David Lindberg of Chicopee and Edward Lindberg of West Springfield, and caring grandmother of Shannon Marie Lindberg.

There will be a Memorial Service scheduled for a later date and the burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 361 Sumner Avenue, Springfield, MA 01108 or to a charity of one’s choice. Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements.
