OBITUARY Patricia Sue Stearns July 29, 1941 – October 31, 2018 P. Sue Stearns, 77, of Connersville, died Wednesday afternoon, October 31, 2018, at Majestic Care in Connersville. Sue was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky , on July 29, 1941, to Hillard and Oval Hall Profitt. They moved to Indianapolis when she was nine and she graduated in 1958 from Arsenal Technical High School there.

For three years, Sue attended Lockyear Business College in Indianapolis. She lived in the Greensburg area raising horses before moving to Richmond in 1986. She had lived in the Connersville area since 1989 and attended Calvary Baptist Church.

In 1996, Sue was employed at Advantage Home Care. She had previously served as administrator of several area nursing homes including, Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester and at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Liberty. Sue was a former member of the Professional Business Women organization.

Sue is survived by her husband: Clifford E. Stearns, whom she married January 14, 1998; her sons and their wives: James L. Keith, Jr. and Colleen of Louisville, Kentucky; Patrick A. Keith and Cindy of Indianapolis; Tony Sneed and Sandy of Greensburg; step-children: Mark Stearns, Kathy Nau, David, John and Jason Stearns; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her daughter: Sheila Sneed who died November 5, 2013; brother: Dean Profitt; and sisters: Doris Mann and Shirley Woodcock. Memorial services will be conducted at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 1 p.m. Pastor Kim McHale will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. where memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Fund. Log on to www. ShowalterBlackwellLong.com.
