Patricia’s Obituary Patricia Sue Tomanek, 71, of Wichita Falls passed away to be reunited with her husband again in Heaven on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Seymour Cemetery with Deacon Jim Novak, officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Patricia was born on July 27, 1947 to the late Frank Ludvig and Helen (Sykora) Hons in Seymour, Texas. Patricia graduated from Seymour High School, and enjoyed sporting around town in her “Muscle Cars” like her Pontiac GTO and Ford Torino. She worked for several years at Farmers National Bank in Seymour.

Patricia met the love of her life, Jerry James Tomanek and the couple married on April 8, 1972. She enjoyed being a homemaker, working on the farm and being a member of the Band Booster Club in support of her children. After Jerry’s passing in 1988, Patricia went back to the workforce at Loving Insurance Company until retiring in 2012.

She enjoyed reading, going to the movies, and watching dog competition shows on television. Also, Patricia loved to cook for family gatherings. Family and friends will miss her.

She is survived by her son, Jay Tomanek; daughter, Lisa Tomanek; her siblings, Frank Hons and wife, Tami, Margaret Blackburn and husband, Eddie, Dolores Schenk, and Paul Hons and wife, Cindy; and numerous other family members. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at Kindred Hospice, Kindred at Home, and Promise Healthcare Facility in Wichita Falls. The family suggests memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association, www.
