Paul’s Obituary Paul Ray Smith, 52, of Wichita Falls, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 until 8 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Scotland Park Pavilion. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.

Paul was born on October 19, 1966 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Donald Ray Smith and Beverly Ann Qualls Smith. He was a 1985 Hirschi Husky graduate where he played four years of football and was a avid student of the Auto Mechanic Program taught by his mentor, Don Shores. He then attended UTI Auto Mechanic of Waco.

Paul was a self-employed mechanic working from his home where all were welcomed. Northside was his home and he was very proud of this. His love for all cars, especially the classics, was known by all.

Besides his love for cars, Paul liked riding four wheelers on the river and just being outside. He loved his Hirschi Huskies and never hesitated to let everyone know. Paul had many brothers of the heart, too numerous to call by name, but he loved them all.

His greatest accomplishment when asked was his son, Paul, Jr. The family would like to thank Lynda Martin, Scott and Missy Szymanski, Johnny Reyna, and Jerry Roberts for all their love. Paul Ray was able to be a tissue donor and bless a few people in need. “LeRoy, you will be for ever missed” Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Beverly Smith; and his cousin, Austin Hawkins.

He is survived by his son, Paul Ray, Jr.; his siblings, Robert and Carol Smith, Ronnie and Tonja Smith, and Becky and Armondo Perez; his honorary brother, Johnny and Chasity Reyna; nieces and nephes, Daulton and Amber Smith, Paul Hollis III, R.C. Smith, Sebastion Perez, Emi Perez, and Anna Perez; great-nephew, Gideon Smith; and many cousins, with special love for Amy Maldonado and Debbie Van Winkle.
