PAUL B. MAY June 15, 1947 – December 29, 2018 Paul B May, 71 passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Sebastian Medical Center in Sebastian. He was born in Detroit, graduated from Thurston High School and served in the U S Army in Mannheim, Germany. After leaving the service he met and married Nancy and in 1971, they moved with their infant daughter, Jessica to Boynton Beach, Florida where they lived until moving to Sebastian in 2014.

Paul worked for over 30 years at the Village of Golf until retirement in June of 2012. Upon retirement the Village dedicated “Peacock Lane Park” to him in honor of his service. Paul enjoyed making pottery, traveling, especially in Florida, collecting shells on the beach and being with friends & family.

He was a member of The American Legion Post 189, Sebastian, FL. He is survived by Nancy his loving wife of 48 years, daughter Jessica Vanatta, son-in-law Micah Vanatta, brother, Larry May, sister Marlene Smith, Nephews, Ryan May, Tom and David Smith and many friends and family. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or simply take time to enjoy the beauty of the beach, he so loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian ,FL on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 at 1:30 PM.
