Obituary for Paul Edward Verdin Jr. Paul Edward Verdin Jr., 47, of Dulac, passed away on December 23, 2018. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 9am to 12pm, with the Memorial Service to start at 11am, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park. A private burial will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his momma, Josephine “Noonie” Verdin; son, Joshua (Brittany) Verdin; 2 grandsons, Jax and Lawson Verdin; former wife, Melinda St. Pierre Verdin; brothers, Bryan (Jamie) Verdin, and Greg (Melisa) Verdin; sister, Nicole (Joseph) Lodrigue; nieces and nephews, Kailyn (Tim), Kelsey, and Karah Lodrigue, Owen and Brannon Verdin; Godchildren, Travis (Nicole) Verdin and Taylor Verdin Hart; great niece, Sophie Ann Verdin; paran, Mack “Quank” Billiot. He was preceded in death by his daddy, Paul Edward Verdin Sr.; grandparents, Lawrence and Anna Mae Billiot, Adam and Marie Libby Foret Verdin. Paul was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

He served in the U.S. navy for 4 years as an aviation electrician and received an honorable discharge. His love for aviation lead him to pursue his Associates Degree in Aircraft and Powerplant Mechanic. Paul also adored his two grandsons and was an avid fisherman.

He’ll be greatly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
