Paul Jurusz, 66 of Dunellen, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville, with his loving family by his side. Born in Jersey City, he was the son of the late, Frank and Ruth (Fisher) Jurusz. Paul loved listening to his old vinyl LP’s from the 60’s and 70’s – both classic rock and country.

He also enjoyed tending to his vegetable gardens and got great pleasure out of feeding the birds. Paul also enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Mets. He also loved working on projects around the house.

Paul worked on the assembly line at GM in Linden before his retirement. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. Besides his beloved parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Linda Coghlan in 2009.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Susan. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Jurusz and his wife Julie of Red Bank; his sister, Barbara Selvereo of Dunellen; his brother-in-law James Coghlan of Dunellen and his nephews, James Coghlan and his wife, Jennifer; Sean Coghlan; Michael Selvereo and Justin Selvereo, as well as many cousins and dear friends. Friends may visit the family on Monday, July 9th, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen.

A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 10 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s name to the Dunellen Rescue Squad or to the charity of your choice.
