Paul L. Huntzberry, 80 passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 in the Perry Point VA Medical Center, Perry Point, MD. Born in Severn, MD, on February 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Ray W. Sr. and Thelma Irene (Gilbert) Huntzberry. He was the husband of 49 years of the late Norma G. Huntzberry who passed on September 23, 2011.

Paul served his country proudly in the military, first in the U.S. Air Force, and then in the Army National Guard. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Cowen Systems and Standard Oil as a truck driver. He was a lifetime member of the North East Volunteer Fire Dept.

, and also a member of the Perryville Fire Dept. He is survived by his daughters: Paula Huntzberry Job and Amber Shiflett (Ronald); and stepson: William C. Delfino (Angelina). In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by a son: Bryant Huntzberry; a grandson: Cameron Shiflett; 3 stepchildren: Ronald and Robert Delfino, Donna Fenn; and 2 brothers: Pete and Meredith Huntzberry.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Following services, he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North East Volunteer Fire Department in care of the funeral home.
