Obituary for Paul Luznar On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, Paul, age 56, of South Park, passed away with his family by his side. Beloved son of Gladys M. and the late Paul C. Luznar; devoted husband of Donell “Dee” Luznar; loving father of Heather (Michael) Loughlin; grandfather of Chelsea and Morgan; great-grandfather of Lucca; brother of Sandy (Mitch) Frazier and Keith (Michele) Luznar; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Everyone is “one-of-a-kind,” but Paul holds the truest, superlative version of that.

Never to be mistaken for anyone but his beautiful self: consistent in demeanor, humor, selflessness, helpfulness, and incomparable love for people and passions. His unique and enviably honorable biography includes mechanic-turned-barber, becoming possibly the youngest and proudest great-grandfather ever, a storytelling gift so vibrant and hilarious the recaps nearly seemed surreal (even when prompted to tell ones he wasn’t necessarily proud of, like arguing over a toothbrush with Keith at the trailer), thumbs for gardening, steadying a rifle for hunting, and reeling-in prizeworthy fish – all of the mentioned succeeded at the highest level – not due to competition or a drive for praise, but because of his brilliant compassion to succeed in what made him happiest. He felt progressively blessed to have Lucca, Chelsea, and Morgan as some of his best friends.

In turn, he made SO many of us the happiest – in and outside of his presence. Seeing him never weakened in thrill, hilarity, and experiencing the aura of the most genuine, humble, most appreciated guy most of us will ever know. Paul drove the “kid-at-Christmas” response out of everyone he knew and met.

Everyone has a memorable smile & laugh, but we are so lucky to be able to loop the tone and images of his delight in our hearts and heads. His permanently positive effects will continue to drive our decisions, relationships, and life views: what truly matters in our sometimes-short lives – progressively bypassing the small, temporary stressors Paul taught us to ignore – simply through living that way. He seemed to never dread, but embrace every task, making it look like life was always as pleasant and exciting as he was!

WE *LOVE* YOU PAUL! Friends received Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 5636 Brownsville Road, (at 6th St.), South Park Twp.
