Paul “P.K.” Kegley, 71, Indianapolis, passed away suddenly April 23, 2018. Paul was born March 23, 1947, in Arno, Virginia, to the late Claude and Alice (Hall) Kegley. He was united in marriage to his loving wife, Sue (Cassetty) Kegley, who survives, on October 10, 1998.

Paul proudly served in the 82nd Airborne for the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Paul was a member and trustee of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3988, American Legion Post 103, and VFW Post 1111. He enjoyed… Read More » fishing, watching NASCAR, the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers and most of all drinking a Miller Lite with his buddies.

Paul’s kind, loving, and funny personality will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters. Survivors include his son, Adam (Benjamin Blanc) Kegley of France; daughters, Paula (Matt) Carrel of California, and Angie (Craig) Laque of Greenwood; a step-son, Dennis Coles of Indianapolis; brothers, Robert (Sylvia) Kegley of Indianapolis, and Charles (Linda) Kegley of Indianapolis; sisters, Wanda Costin of Florida, Judy (Ted) Willis of Virginia, and Brenda (Tom) Schindler of Speedway; grandchildren, Dustin, Amelia, Alex, Isaac, Owen, Corbin, Sophia, and Layla; and one great granddaughter, Cora Jane.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Paul Kegley from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory; service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis. All are invited to continue in the celebration of Paul’s life at the Eagles, located at 451 Samuel More Pkwy, Mooresville, beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Order of Eagles 3988; envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
