Paul S. Bartasavich September 2, 2018 Paul S. Bartasavich, 78, Scott Township, passed away Sunday afternoon at Regional Hospital of Scranton. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Evelyn C. Lewis. Paul was born Sunday, July 21, 1940 in Peckville, son of the late Victor and Margaret Virbitski Bartasavich.

He was a graduate of Throop High School, a machinist for Thompson, a former member of the Scott Township Hose Company, an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed playing Pinochle with the guys. Along with his wife, Paul is survived by his son, David Bartasavich and wife Tara, Raleigh, NC; daughters, Paulette and husband Mark Kozemko, Sayre and Jean Marie Chorba and husband, Gerard, Archbald; his beloved grandchildren, William and Joseph Kozemko, Amanda and Mollee Chorba and Kali and Katelin Bartasavich; sister, Adeline Kurtz, Green Ridge and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Thomas and Helen Lestansky.

Family and Friends may call Friday, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm at the Louis J Rapoch Funeral Home, 420 Church St., Archbald, where his Celebration of Life, will be held 9:00 am Saturday.
