Obituary for Paul William Hunter Paul William Hunter, 90, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility in Emmett Township, MI. He was born April 7, 1928 in Erie, PA the son of Mr. William F. Hunter and Dorothy (Shoeman) Hunter. Paul worked for 39 years as a Yard Conductor for Con-Rail Railroad and eventually retired in 1988.

. He is survived by: his significant other for 24 years: Jeanette K. Hack of Battle Creek, MI; step-daughter: Penny A. Belles of Battle Creek, MI; his step son: David P. Terry of Delton, MI; his sister: Phyllis McClur in Phoenix, Arizona; seven step grandchildren; and several Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister – Shirley Miller 2017, grandson Robby Claywell in 2016, granddaughter: Lori Ann Mills in 1968, and his former wife Doralyn Hunter in 1996.

He attended schools in Erie PA and came to Battle Creek from Erie, PA. He enjoyed bowling and going to Auctions, wintered in Bull Head City, Nevada for 20 years, member of UTU Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. No visitation will be held at this time however burial of cremated remains will be later at Floral Lawn.

Cremation has been conducted. Memorial tributes may be made to American Cancer Society. Arrangements by the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, a member by invitation Selected Independent Funeral Homes.
