Obituary for Paul M. Zimmerman Paul M. Zimmerman, 100, formerly of Jonestown, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018, at the Providence Place Senior Living in Pine Grove. He was the husband of the late Anna B. Lehman Zimmerman. Born in Pine Grove on August 1, 1918, he was the son of the late Robert and Ida Miller Zimmerman.

He retired after 40 years of service from Bethlehem Steel, where he had worked in the sucker rod department. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II. He was the oldest member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jonestown.

He was a life member of the Kittatinny Hunting Club, a life member of the American Legion and was the past president of the Retired Steel Workers Union. He is survived by his son Robert P. and his wife Diane Zimmerman of Lebanon; daughter Betty L. wife of Timothy Wolfe of Bethel; sister Roma Uhlrich of Robesonia; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Dale Zimmerman, granddaughter Sherry Zimmerman, brothers Milton and Lloyd, and sisters Minnie Heinbach, Sadie Sattazahn, Mabel Werner and Lula Lengel.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd. , Jonestown.

A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Pine Grove. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Paul M. Zimmerman please visit our Sympathy Store.
