Paula Theresa Williams, 61, of Westminster, Maryland died peacefully on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born on November 6, 1956 in Westminster, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Elvira Magruder Gibson. She was the wife of 18 years to Dwight L. Williams.

Paula graduated from Robert Moton School in Westminster and went on to become a nursing aide at Springfield Hospital in Sykesville. She most recently retired from the warehouse department at Jos. A. Bank Clothiers in Hampstead.

Surviving in addition to her husband are sisters, Beatrice Brown and husband Louis of New Windsor and Sandra Gibson of FL; brother, Frank Magruder and wife Elvira of Pasadena; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by siblings, Elvira Grahams, Francise Costley, Althea Shirley and William Gibson. A Gathering of family and friends will be held starting at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 37 W. George St., Westminster, MD.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Westminster. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
