Pauline L. Riggs, 92, of Indianapolis and formerly of Clay City passed away Friday, December 07, 2018 in Westside Health Care. She was born in Owen County, Indiana on December 29, 1925, the daughter of Brooks C. Hauser and Dessie Louise Jean Houser. Pauline was a graduate of Coal City High School, class of 1944.

She married her husband, Robert L. Riggs in Clay City on July 30, 1948 and was a homemaker to him and their daughter, Lana. While living in Clay City, she and her family attended… Read More » the Middlebury Baptist Church. She was a member of Ben Davis Christian Church in Indianapolis.

Survivors include her loving husband of 70 years, Robert L. Riggs; her daughter, Lana M. Riggs; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Gene F. Hauser; a sister, Lois Kathleen Frye; and her twin brother, Paul B. Houser. Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, December 10, 2018 at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 301 E. 8th Street, Clay City with Pastor Bob Dicky officiating.
