Pearl A. Morrison passed away on Thursday at the age of 100. She was a lifetime resident of the City of Akron, and a graduate of East High School. She was married to James R. Morrison for 52 years, and he preceded her in death.

She was the mother of James (Gloria) and Gary (Sharon). Pearl was a proud grandmother of five, and great grandmother of nine. She was survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Pearl was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Heather Knoll in Tallmadge for their compassionate care of Pearl. We also appreciate Pastor Deborah Wissner, of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Tallmadge, for her attention to Pearl.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church 158 North Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278 or to a charity of one’s choice. Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Deborah Wissner officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. Donations may be made to: St. Mark’s Lutheran Church 158 North Ave.
