Obituary for Pearlie Mae Duffin Pearlie Mae Duffin 76, was born in Houston, Texas on February 16, 1942 to Edgar Clark and Margaret Holloway Clark. On October 17, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Pearlie Mae answered the eternal call of rest and went to be with her Lord and Savior. Pearlie is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter; Patricia Kirk, her husband; Charles Duffin, brothers; John Earl Clark, Jackie Clark, Willie James Wilson, Henry Ray King, sisters; Willie Pearl Wilson and Lucy Upshaw.

After graduating high school Pearlie became a hard worker. She worked many, many years at Children’s Hospital and always had the “had to make it” attitude and walked to work even if there was snow or inclement weather. Pearlie loved her life, her family and going to church.

He favorite color was purple and her favorite praise song was “Every Praise”. Her family agreed that she made the best fired chicken and she loved to press and curl hair, especially her nieces. Although, she was quiet at church she had a feisty personality and loved to have Dionne there on a daily basis where she always talked about her sister.

It was Pearlie’s wish to have all the family back together as one, and it was planned and set to happen, but sadly, she passed days before she could enjoy the reunion. Dionne was happy that Pearlie gave her the opportunity to be with her from June until her passing. She leaves behind to continue this earthly journey her sister; Glenara Barber and grandsons; Rick Kirk, Mario Kirk and Tony Kirk as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
