Obituary for Pedro H. Alderete Pedro Alderete, age 89 of Houston entered into eternal rest on August 14, 2018. He was born on June 29, 1929 to Felipe Alderete and Angela Hernandez in Houston, TX. Pedro is preceded in death by his son Peter Palacios; great-granddaughter Lila Alderete; parents Felipe and Angela Alderete; siblings Fernando Hernandez Alderete, John Hernandez Alderete and Martha Alderete Willis.
He is survived by his loving family which includes his children Lilia Rose Alderete, Paul Hernandez Alderete, Angel Alderete, Edward Alderete; grandchildren Tony Chavez, Pete Rangel Alderete, Rumaldo Alderete, David Henry Alderete, Angela Marie Quiroga , Carlos Quiroga Alderete, Edward Alderete Jr., Joe Angel Alderete, Angel Veit, Christina Nicole Alderete, Jacob Edward Alderete, Jonothan Luis Alderete, Alyssa Marie Alderete, Julieanne Marie Alderete, Joel Gerado Alderete, Nicholas Xavier Alderete; great- grandchildren David Sanchez, Diego Chavez, Sieanna Alderete, Nicholas Alderete, Jasalynn Mariah Quintanilla, Aiden Alderete, Alaiza Olaya Quintanilla, Melanie Alderete, Jordin Alderete, Hennessy Alderete, Harmony Idalia Diaz, Lyriq Nevaeh Alderete, Nathaniel Veit, Alyana Veit, and Aria Marie Diaz; great great- grandson Ezra Michael Jerome Sanchez; brother Bernardino Hernandez Alderete. ” He was a loving caring and very giving person who helped everyone around him. He was full of life and loved his family.
Family meant everything to him. Everyone knew he loved to walk , watch cartoons and tell stories. He couldn’t read or write but that didn’t stop him.
He loved the Lord very much. There was no one who came across who didn’t love Pedro. He truly will be missed”.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2018, 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, 10:00 am at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
