Obituary for Mrs. Peggie White Irvin Graveside services for Mrs. Peggie White Irvin, 85, will be held on Thursday October 18, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bethesda Cemetery with Rev. Tim Nichols and family officiating. Mrs. Irvin died on Monday October 15, 2018 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a short illness.

She was born in Crockett County daughter of the late Jim and Gracie Vernon White and had lived her entire life in the area. She was a business owner retiring from the feed and grain industry. Mrs. Irvin has been very active in the Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was a member and the organist for seventy years.

She was designated in her family as the historian. She is survived by her husband, Robert Irvin Sr., Friendship, TN, daughter, Rhonda Thompson (Walter), Brownsville, TN, son Jim Irvin, (Teresa), Friendship, TN, two grandchildren, Cory Dickson, Sara Thompson, great grandchildren, Harper Dickson, Porter Dickson, and Carter James Dickson. In addition to her parents she was preceded by brothers Warren White, and Jerald White.

Pallbearers for the service will be Keith White, Kevin White, Trey Dickson, Eric White, Kenny Davis and Corey Hutchison. Visitation will be at the Bethesda Church beginning at 11:00 A.M. Memorials maybe made to the Bethesda Cemetery Fund. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
