Obituary for Peggy A. Morgan Peggy A. Morgan, 81, of Glen Carbon and formerly of Murphysboro, passed away at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, in Glen Carbon. Peggy was born April 7, 1937 Muhlenberg, IN, a daughter to the late Aldon W. Meeks and Ila E. Cornell. She was united in marriage to Thomas K. Morgan on April 2, 1955, in Evansville, IN; Thomas preceded her in death on June 26, 1998.

Peggy was a graduate of Central High School in Evansville, IN, and was a homemaker and had been employed as a surgery technician. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park near Murphysboro; those wishing to attend services should gather at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Susan Morgan of Edwardsville; five grandchildren, Chris Geis, Jason Geis, Elayne Senger, Kathryn Morgan and Sean Morgan; four great-grandchildren and one son-in-law, Alan Geis. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Kelly Morgan, and one daughter, Kim Geis To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Peggy A.
