Funeral for Peggy Cartee Sims, 79, of Moulton will be Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM with O. D. Bowling officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sims, who died Monday, May 20, 2019 at Summerford Nursing Home, was born, March 7, 1940, to Hurst Cartee and Ruby Terry Cartee. She retired from Decatur General Hospital and was a foster grandparent at Moulton Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: Daughter – Jennifer Sims Adams Brother – Odis (Brenda) Cartee 2 grandchildren – Jason Byrd & Stephanie Byrd Hillyard 1 great grandchild – Lilly Hillyard Pallbearers will be Joe Cuzzort, Chris Thomas, Mike Sims, Bucky Sims, Ethan Cuzzort and Lamonte Byrd.
