Obituary for Peggy Louise Reece Robinson Peggy Louise Reece Robinson, age 72, of Rome passed away Thursday August 9th 2018. She was born to the late Hope Reece and the late Bonnie Roberta Atkins Reece in Summerville, Georgia on August 8, 1946. Peggy grew up in East Rome, attended East Rome High School, worked in Adult Mental Health and retired from the State of Georgia in 1993.

She enjoyed reading, yard sales and gardening. She loved Mexico Beach, her “girls” grandchildren and music. Peggy traveled to several countries, lived in five different states and numerous cities before her return home to Rome.

Peggy is often thought of as Sassy, Strong Willed, Independent and of course the “Life of the Party” She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother William Lee Reece. Peggy is survived by four siblings: Buddy (Teresa) Reece, Shelia (Ollie) Ashley, Brenda Reece and Chandler Reece. Three daughters: Bree Robinson Handler, Wendy Robinson and Mara Robinson Tierce.

Five grandchildren: Timothy Spears, Taylor (Matt) Gibbs, Blade Handler, Hannah Tierce and Jackson Chumbler. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and lifelong friends. Receiving of friends will be at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Saturday August 11th 4-6 with a Life Celebration to follow.
