She was born on August 22, 1921 in Mercedes, TX, daughter of Rafael and Maria (Quiroga) Pacheco. She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel G.Garza; son Alfred Garza; sisters Guadalupe Rivera, Matilde Diaz and Josefina Renteria; brother, Manuel Pacheco.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Elena (Pete) San Miguel, Elida (Daniel) Sosa, Estella (Ben) Rogino, Sofia (Richard) Villarreal; sister, Elvira Martinez, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 until time of rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville, TX. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 693 N. 3rd, Raymondville, Texas on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery, Raymondville, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo Ave, Raymondville, Texas.
