Peggy Narron Peacock, 73, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018. She was born May 23, 1945 in Johnston County to the late Claude L. Narron and Mozelle Stancil Narron. Peggy graduated from Corinth Holders High School in 1963.

She retired after 33 years of service with the NC Dept. of Motor Vehicles as a Chief Hearing Officer. Peggy spent many years enjoying her true passion of playing golf.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Antioch Baptist Church, 8490 NC 39, Middle, 27557. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 2:45 pm and other times at Peggy’s home.

Surviving: daughter, Wendy Rae Shepherd of Garner (Josh); grandchildren: Raegan Kollin Shepherd, Addison Grier Shepherd; brother, Freddy Wayne Narron (Linda) of Middle; sister, Rose Narron Lee (F.W. Lee, Jr.) of Selma. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her brothers: Leon and Billy Narron and her husband, Billy Ray Peacock. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Me Fine Foundation, remembering Folden Lee, IV, 610 Braswell Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
