Obituary for Penny Peggy “Penny” M. Wamsley, 73, of Keyport, passed away on Thursday, May 24th, at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in England, lived in Port Monmouth, prior to moving to Keyport five years ago. Peggy was a sales clerk at Quick Chek in Middletown, for eleven years, until she fell ill five years ago.
She enjoyed playing Bingo with her daughter and online. She also loved spending time with her family especially her great grandchildren. Peggy was pre-deceased by her husband John Wamsley in March, 2018 and her daughter Christine Cafiero in April, of 2018.
She is survived by her son and daughter in-law; Dale and Leslie Wamsley of Keyport; her brother and sister in-law; George and Cindy Boyce of Florida; three sisters and brothers in-law; Sylvia Soles of Hazlet, Sharon and Brian Duff of Cream Ridge and Gwendolin and Bill Flemming of Keyport; her son in-law; Jim Cafiero; four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Family will be accepting friends on Wednesday from 5-7pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg.
