Peter J. LaFrankie III, age 59, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 in Jefferson Hospital. He retired after 18 years as a custodian for the Elizabeth Forward School District. He attended St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church in Elrama and enjoyed camping and fishing.

Born June 3, 1958 in McKeesport, he was a son of Fay (DeQuenne) LaFrankie of Lincoln Borough and the late Peter J. LaFrankie Jr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jane (Hinerman) LaFrankie; son, Peter J. LaFrankie IV; granddaughter, Giana LaFrankie; stepdaughter, Shelley (Ron) Mavilla of South Park; stepsons, Roy and Ricky Tichenell, both of West Virginia; nine step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Natalie (Gary) Wolfgang of Lincoln Borough, Carla Hobaugh of Jefferson Hills, and Marie (Larry) Schmidt of Pittsburgh; brother, James LaFrankie of Elizabeth; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12 noon until the time of a blessing service at 2 PM with Fr. Charles Baptiste officiating.
