Mr. Peter M. Schemm, age 63, passed away early Thursday morning, June 7, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region. He was born April 2, 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Peter has resided in Bay City since 1965 and graduated from Garber High School.

Following high school, he was invited to attend the National Youth Science Camp. Peter then entered the University of Michigan Honors School. Peter is survived by his mother, Louise Schemm of Bay City; his brother, Richard Schemm of Traverse City; his sister,… Read More » Suzanne (Rick) Vulgamott of Brighton; and his niece and nephew, Zoe and Zack Vulgamott.

Peter was preceded in death by his father, Robert Schemm. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. For those who so desire, memorial contributions may be directed to NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
